Java Red Restaurant provides a very unique atmosphere for a casual all-day dining with stunning views of Mt. Merbabu, Mt. Andong and Mt. Merapi. Offering wide selections of Mediterranean and Indonesian cuisine, it has two air-conditioned dining rooms which are suitable for in-door dining or private functions. If you want to feel the natural breeze during the meals, its out-door venue is the place.
Java Green Restaurant is located by the infinity pool and opened only for lunch. Fresh organic vegetables harvested from Losari grounds are its specialties.
The Hamam is one of the focal features of the resort. Designed by Italian architect, Andrea Magnaghi, this unique 800 sqm spa vicinity is facilitated with an authentic Turkish Hamam, five self-contained treatment rooms, beauty salon and spa gallery. All the treatments are attentively created to promote ‘Relaxing, Revitalizing and Rejuvenating’ effects to the body.
Hamam is a Turkish word which means Steam Bath and originally was inspired by the ancient Roman Thermae. This beneficial treatment is based on the effects of alternating cold water and hot steam, that eventually helps relieving the muscles’ tension and draining the toxins out of the skin.
Ladies and Gents are accommodated at two separate Hamam quarters. Each quarter comprises of three rooms:
The Caldarian (Steam room) is set at 40oC and scented with eucalyptus oil. In the four special niches inside, there is a fountain which provides cold water to freshen the body.
The Frigidarium (Cold room) has a cold plunge pool which is advisable to use before going into the scrub section. We use organic coffee scrubs that helps eliminating toxic waste in the body.
The Tepidarium (Relaxation Room) is a rest room after treatment. A lemongrass tea served in this room will lull you to rest. The water supply at Losari is extraordinary, it is coming from underground spring water at 120 meter below surface. This spring is originated from the mountain springs that surround the resort. At The Hamam, our drinking water is specially filtered and energized, known as ‘Chi Water’. The guests are encouraged to drink at least one liter per day to maintain health.
